MODERN STYLE LOCKING MAILBOX

This mail box is made of heavy cast aluminum and is easily mounted to any flat surface.

Each mailbox features a durable powder coated finish available in four
(4) contemporary colors:
Black, White, Green, or Beige
with two (2) door designs: Eagle or Plain.

Modern mailboxes have a 10” W x 2-1/2 “ H solid brass mail flap with the word “MAIL” cast into it and are accessed from the front through a locking 10” W x 6.5” H door.

Each mailbox includes a gold finish lock and comes with two (2) keys.

These mail boxes are shipped direct from the manufacturer. Flat-rate shipping covers a safe, convenient delivery of this 20 lb item right to your front door.

Please remember: These and other mailbox styles with a 2-1/2" high mail flap, while just their presence will usually discourage mail theft, it is not restrictive enough to prevent a small childlike hand from entering through the flap. However, if the mailbox is mounted at the proper height, entering a hand through the flap and reaching to the bottom of the mail compartment is very difficult and uncomfortable for the intruder, which usually ends their invasion.

Many customers have expressed their delight with the appearance and functionality of the Modern Locking Mailbox, but have asked if it were possible to use this Mailbox without the lock or having to keep up with keys?

The answer is: YES!

You can now order separately a sturdy, gold-finish
thumb-latch that will keep your mailbox tightly closed and protected from the weather, but will allow you easy access to your mail. And if the time comes that you will be out-of-town and you feel you need more security, you can swap the latch back for the lock.
